The tires are a matched set of american classic p215/75r14 whitewall radials, mounted on steel wheels with hubcaps, all in excellent condition. Mechanical: we found that the engine started easily and idles smoothly. The automatic transmission works well and shifts easily, and the brakes pull the car to a straight stop when applied. The steering is smooth and the car tracks straight down the road. We also found that all the mechanicals are in working order. Exterior: the exterior physical condition of this car's sheet metal is excellent with no dings, dents or rust and all the body panels appear original to the car. The car was repainted rio red, its original color, and it is in excellent condition. It was professionally done and has a mirror gloss finish, but there are a couple of minor chips. The chrome and stainless trim around the car is all new or has been refinished and is in very good to excellent condition. There are no chips or scratches in the glass and all the rubber seals are new. Interior: the new tri-colored red upholstery, door panels, and headliner are in excellent condition. The new red carpets and padded dash are in excellent condition. The steering wheel, gauges and trim all have been restored and look excellent. Engine compartment & trunk: the engine and engine compartment had been restored and detailed to “like new†condition, but now are showing a little deterioration due to minor use and age. There are chips and stains on the engine and intake manifold, but no corrosion or surface rust on the metal or bolts. The paint and rubber mat in the trunk are new and in excellent condition. Chassis: the undercarriage had been restored and detailed to “like new†condition, but now are showing a little deterioration due to minor use and age. Brakes: mechanical drum on rear wheels introduced in late 1908, henry ford's model t was by 1912, the most popular car in america. Always looking for ways to improve quality, and more importantly, improve quantity, his development of the moving assembly line for the automotive industry was genius. According to engine serial numbers a total of 94,662 model t's were produced during the 1912 model year. The torpedo runabout saw a total of 13,376 copies produced with prices running about $590, fob detroit. Simple mechanics, top quality materials and a real car at a low price helped henry build an empire. Proving that not all model t's were paint black, this runabout has been restored in dark blue, which was the only color officially available for that model year. The engine has been restored and is reported to start rather easily, no more than two or three tugs on the hand-cranks at most. Helping the car to run right is an j&b co. Master vibrator coil magneto. This “t†for three is fitted with a pair of ford script gray & davis gas headlights plus a pair of cowl lamps, all polished to deep reflective quality as is the brass radiator shell. The black diamond tufted leather seat is supple and inviting, while the black colonial grain top material looks new and fits the bows just as it did when produced 100+ years ago. On the wood spoke wheels is a set of white rubber tires. The engine was apparently assembled in january 1912 and was most likely installed in a car within a few weeks. One of the most unique features of this car is the “mother-in-law†seat fitted to the deck behind the front passenger compartment.

The clutch, works well, but the transmission linkage needs adjustment, while the brakes pull the car to a straight stop. The steering is smooth, easy and tracks straight down the road. We found that everything works on the car except the clock. Overall, it drives like a new car. Exterior: the exterior physical condition of this car's sheet metal is excellent with no dings, dents or rust, and all the body panels appear original to the car. The car was repainted nassau blue, its original color, and it is in excellent condition. It was professionally done and has a mirror gloss finish, but there are a couple of minor chips. The chrome and stainless trim around the car is all new or has been refinished and is in very good to excellent condition. There are no chips or scratches in the glass and all the rubber seals are new. Interior: the new blue vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition, as are the door panels. The speckled blue carpets are new and were professionally installed. The dash looks excellent, as does the steering wheel, plastic and chrome. The headliner is new. The new trunk interior is clean and detailed with new paint and mats. Engine compartment: then engine and engine compartment have been fully restored and detailed, but now is showing some very minor use. The new wiring looks excellent. Chassis: the undercarriage that had been perfectly restored is now showing minor use with a few small chips, as well as minor surface rust and stains on the bolts and nuts. The exhaust system is in excellent condition. In 1962, chevrolet produced about 704,000 impalas, but there were only about 15,000 409 cars in both 380 and 409 horsepower. Comoptions:description:1956 pontiac safari - utah showroom the 1955 safari was built using shared body components with the chevrolet nomad station wagon, which would also allow both divisions to share in the tooling costs for the special bodied wagons. The safari was fitted with pontiac's unique front-end bumper/grille assembly and sheet metal and rear tail light design, both created by pontiac stylist paul gillan. Gillan received a united states patent for the bumper/grille design. The safari featured sport-coupe front doors, extra chrome adorning the tailgate and interior, and sliding rear-seat windows. Interior trim, upholstery and bright work were equal to pontiac's top line star chief range of models, however the safari was actually the only model in the star chief custom. This safari has been restored to it's original condition with attention paid to detail throughout. It is equipped with the 287 cu in v-8, hydramatic transmission and power steering and brakes.

Comoptions:description:1957 chevy belair 2 sports coupe - utah showroom initially, general motors executives wanted an entirely new car for 1957, but production delays necessitated the 1955-56 design for one more year. Ed cole, chief engineer for chevrolet, dictated a series of changes that significantly increased the cost of the car. These changes included a new dashboard, sealed cowl, and the relocation of air ducts to the headlight pods, which resulted in the distinctive chrome headlight that helped make the '57 chevrolet a classic. The now famous '57 chevrolet tailfins were designed to duplicate the wide look in the rear. Bel air models were given gold trim: the grille, front fender chevrons, hood, and trunk script were all rendered in anodized gold. The 1957 chevrolets did not have an oil pressure gauge or a voltmeter. This bel air has been frame off, nut and bolt restored. It is a 283 v-8 with powerglide automatic transmission. The rare copper paint is flawless, the brightwork is immaculate and the underhood detail shows as new.
